SNAPZ Master Electrician® Trouble Running on Windows 8
Some users have experienced difficulty running SNAPZ Master
Electrician on early releases of Windows 8. To fix this
problem, use the following instructions:
1) Some early versions of Windows 8 (both 32 bit and 64 bit versions) shipped with a bug preventing certain
operating environments from running correctly, and in some cases, from even running at
all (it would lockup/freeze before fully opening - typically reporting that the
program had stopped responding).
2) Microsoft fixed this for both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows 8, in the
"Windows 8 Client and Windows Server 2012 General Availability Cumulative Update" that
they rolled out on October 11, 2012.
3) You need to ensure that you have the latest Windows 8 updates installed - especially
the "Windows 8 Client and Windows Server 2012 General Availability Cumulative Update."
4) Once installed, you should be able to find this entry listed in the "installed updates"
section of the Programs and Features control panel.Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2756872)
